FRCA Board of Directors

FRCA is run by a volunteer board of directors. The board meets every other month to alternate with general meetings. All FRCA members are invited to attend our board meetings. If you have any ideas, questions, concerns, or just need some information, please feel free to contact any of our board members.

Here is out slate of directors for 2008:

Allison Bohlman - President and A&M Liaison

allison A busy little bee from up North, Allison works for Alabama A&M's water quality program. She is beginning her Master's degree and soon will have no hair left on her head. She will still come out and enthusiatically talk to any group about bugs, water, and the combination thereof.

Soos Weber - Special Projects

 Soos is an active woman working for Huntsville City Parks & Recreation. The Hays Nature Preserve is run by Soos where she finds even more time to help steer FRCA in the right direction.

Lance Brecht - Special Projects

 Lance enjoys getting out on the Flint River as much as possible. He is an energetic fellow and a proud grandfather. As too we are of Lance.

Ben Ferrill - City of Huntsville Liason

corbicula Ben also works for Huntsville City and brings a new prespective to the board. He would love to hear any feedback from members to make FRCA the best it can be.

Heather Howell - Treasurer

heather Heather is a Paint Rock resident and committed river junkie. If there is a river, she will wade in and search for mussels. She is the wildlife associate at A&M, a Ph.D candidate, and an EPA fellow.

Lisa Gardner Barillas - Secretary

lisa Lisa is a die hard worker. No matter what else happens, she'll get it done. She has worked across the continent on many conservation projects mostly with birds. You may find her in the Walls of Jericho during the fall seasons.

Jennifer Pinkley - Communications

Jennifer lives in Tennessee in the upper reaches of the Flint River watershed and is interested in way too many conservation projects. On the weekends, if she's not on a river, you can find her in the woods or in a cave.

Joe Imhof - Membership

Joe is involved is many local conservation organizations. He serves as the FRCA membership coordinator, so if you'd like to join FRCA and have any questions, just email Joe.
